The Social Squad was a little hesitant to post a video that ran over two minutes, but I pushed for it because the story was so strong. I pulled the moment from a longer interview, edited it into a standalone piece, and advocated for publishing it. It became our best-performing Instagram video, earning more than 100,000 organic views in just a few days.

Instead of shying away from a difficult question, I pushed for us to address it directly. It quickly generated roughly 50x the average organic views, and today NSLS-owned videos hold the top three video results for “Is the NSLS worth it?”
I suggested creating a video for MLK Day because holiday and timely content tends to perform well. I remembered that we had previously interviewed Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s daughter, pulled a strong moment from that interview, and edited it into a standalone clip. It earned the highest engagement rate we had ever seen on TikTok.
